Accentuate the “Boom” in Boomers

Boomers rejoice and reward yourself for everything you’ve accomplished!

Boom” represents a deep, resonant sound.

To grow, develop, flourish, or progress rapidly symbolizes a “Boom” in the world. Something we could use more of today.

Boom Boom” has been used as an amusing nickname.

Demographers, sociologists, and the media have defined “baby boomers” as the generation born between the years 1946 and 1964. It refers to the actual “baby boom” following World War II. Today, that translates to individuals between the ages of 46 and 64 years old. The oldest wave of boomers are now considering retirement options and looking forward to living a meaningful elder life. The youngest group is managing “generation X”, or in some cases, being managed by them.

Who first coined the phrase “baby boomers”? It’s not exactly known. It only refers to the stats listed of babies born in the 40s, 50s, and 60s and not to the person who originally penned the name.

Boomers have expressed, fought, inspired, taught, and defined a generation through music, social changes, technology, and business. What a fantastic way to accentuate the positive with boomer recognition. There are so many things that boomers have shaped and paved the way for more generations.
